The Cherry-blossom or Nippon Genki Festival 2011, organized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam, will take place at the Vietnam Exhibition and Fair Center on April 16-17.
Phu Tho Provincial Literature and Arts Association had coordinated with other agencies to organize an international exhibition on calligraphy and posters with the theme "Study and follow President Ho Chi Minh's moral example" at the Hung Vuong Museum (Tran Phu Street, Viet Tri City, Phu Tho Province) from April 4 - 12, 2011.
The Center for Preservation of Co Loa Relics – Thang Long Ancient Citadel has asked permission from the Hanoi authorities and related ministries to compile the file of Co Loa relic to submit to the UNESCO for recognition as a world cultural heritage.
Phu Tho province has made preparations for this year’s festival to commemorate the death anniversary of the Hung Kings, as well as preserving the local areas tangible and intangible heritage.
A cultural exchange between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) was held on April 3 in Tuy Hoa City in the south central province of Phu Yen as part of activities to celebrate the 2011 National Tourism Year.
