DAY 01 : GUWAHATI – SHILLONG
Arrive at Guwahati airport. Received and transferred to Shillong (130 kms / 03 Hrs) – Capital of Meghalaya, located at an altitude of 1496 m is one of the Largest hill stations of India. It is named after its creator – U lei Shyllong, who is believed to have resided on the Shillong Peak.
Over night at Shillong.
DAY 02 : SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJEE – SHILLONG
After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee (56 kms / 02 hrs) – known as the rainiest rain – belt in the world, the lovely town is also famous for its limestone caves and orange honey. En route visit Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak
(the Highest point in Meghalaya – 1965 m). On reaching Cherrapunjee visit
Mawsmai Cave, Mawsmai Falls, Nohkalikai Falls (the fourth highest fall in the world), Thankarang Park (whereform you get a panoramic view of Bangladesh) and Khrem falls. Drive back to Shillong.
Over night at Shillong.
DAY 03 : SHILLONG – day excursion
Today after breakfast we will explore the colonial part of Shillong. Visit Lewduh Market the oldest traditional market. Drive and explore Mawpflang
Sacred Forest and scenic Khasi villages. Afternoon enjoy the traditional Archery near Polo Ground of Shilling. Evening at leisure.

DAY 04 : SHILLONG – KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park (300 kms / 07 hrs) – a World Heritage Site and Tiger reserve – is home to more than 80% of the world’s
Population of the Great One Horned Rhinoceros. It has a significant population
of Asian Elephant and Water Buffalos living here and also has a wide variety a fauna and avifauna in a unique habitat of mainly grasslands, close tangled and
thorny rattan cane, Elephant grass and tall trees of evergreen forest and numerous water bodies. More than 400 species of birds both resident and migratory are found here. Evening at leisure.
Over night at Kaziranga.
DAY 05 : KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK
Early morning Elephant Ride in the Central range of the Park followed by a Jeep safari in the same range – the central range is good for water birds such as Falcate Teal, White-eyed Pochard, Grey headed Fishing Eagle, Crested Serpent Eagle and Spot-billed Pelican. Bengal Florican can also be seen in this range. After lunch Jeep Safari in the Western range: ideal for grassland birds
and big game like Rhinos and Water Buffaloes.
Over night at Kaziranga.
DAY 06 : KAZIRANGA – GUWAHATI
After breakfast, drive to Guwahati (220 kms / 05 hrs) – gateway to the North India, situated on the south bank of the mighty Brahmaputra the city is the principal centre of socio – cultural, political, industries and trade & commerce of the entire region. Visit Maa Kamakhya Mandir – one of the most sacred Hindu Pilgrimage and Balaji Mandir – the replica of Tirupati Balaji. Evening
Cruise in River Brahmaputra.
Over night at Guwahati.
DAY 07 : GUWAHATI – AIRPORT
After breakfast, drive to Guwahati – Airport for onward destination.
